15 people, in a sitting room, in the student triangle is not an easy feat, but this weekend it was done! You definitely don’t see it often, but progressive supper brings the largest groups to the smallest rooms as SCOGUI ‘tour’ Loughborough in search of a meal in parts.
This year it was mainly based in the student triangle, with everyone arriving a little too early to Rob’s for the first course of bruchetta (catching him still getting ready!), then on to SCOGUI house where AimĂ©e and Megan had prepared several different ‘posh pasta bakes’ (as Pete put it) to cater for everyones different tastes. Vicki produced a flurry of different desserts, with meringues, cheesecake and even chocolate cake bite lollypops! The final cheese course was left to Cain, and he didn’t disappoint. With a table full of cheeses and port, many, many toasts were given, wrapping up the evening.
Thank you to everyone who cooked, and prepared, and cleaned up, and most importantly… thank you to those who ate it all.
See you all tomorrow!
