- The first recorded mention of a group (Loughborough Colleges Rover Scout Crew) who attended the Intervarsity summer rally.
1953-56
- Representatives of Loughborough students attend the Intervarsity rallies, despite not having university status.
1957
- The group either folded or joined the newly formed Intercollegiate.
1966
- Loughborough College of Advanced Technology acquires university status as Loughborough University of Technology (Technology dropped in 1996)
1967
- SSAGO is formed through the merger of two existing organisations.
- The club organises the first SSAGO autumn rally at Shelthorpe School.
1971
- Malcolm Darvil elected as SSAGO Chairman
- Club awarded the autumn rally but withdraw after failing to find a venue
1972
- John Simpson elected as SSAGO Secretary
1976
- The club is revived re-registering with SSAGO in 1978.
1977
- The university merged with the PE college
1981
- Clifford George elected as SSAGO Chairman.
- Alan Sibley elected as SSAGO Treasurer
1982
- The club organises the Lufbra 1982 Summer rally at the Oaks in Charnwood.
- The clubs mascot “Scogui Bear” was created for the rally by Elizabeth Neat
- Helen Fisher elected as SSAGO Secretary
1983
- Sally Ann Jones elected as SSAGO Secretary
1983 or 1984
- The club folds and remains dormant for two or three years.
1986/87
- For the second time the club is revived and has continued to this day.
1993
- Scogui jointly runs the autumn rally with Nottingham at Walesby Forest. It is believed that the attendance of 235 is a record for a SSAGO rally.
1994
- Ben Reed elected as SSAGO Chairman.
1999
- Scogui runs their first rally since 1982. The Noahs arks rally was the last of twentieth century.
2000
- Alistair (Ali) Hutchinson is elected as SSAGO Chairperson.
2001
- Scogui wins the SSAGO Challenge Plate (Gaddaffy Duck Challenge) for the first time at the summer rally.
- Martin Whelan elected as SSAGO Treasurer.
2002
- Martin Whelan elected as SSAGO Chairperson.
2003
- Scogui runs the SSAGO Spring Rally, once again at the Oaks in Charnwood.
- Dr Tom Martin elected as the newly created Associate Members representative.
2005
- Darren (Daz) Clowes elected as SSAGO Publicity Officer
2006
- Constitution replaced in favour of new Code of Conduct in line with Student Union policy.
2007
- Scogui runs the “Down Under” SSAGO Spring Rally at the Oaks in Charnwood. 256 SSAGO members attend, making it one of the largest turnouts on record.
- Darren (Daz) Clowes elected as SSAGO Chairperson
- Paul Thompson elected as SSAGO Secretary.
2008
- Darren (Daz) Clowes is re-elected as SSAGO Chairperson
- Paul Thompson (now a member of Nottingham trent SSAGO) becomes SSAGO Members Officer
2009
- Kirstie Wright is elected as SSAGO Publicity Officer
- William Brown is elected as SSAGO Members Officer
- SCOGUI hosts the annual SSAGO Ball in Loughborough
2010
- Kirstie Wright is elected as SSAGO Treasurer
- Scogui wins the SSAGO Challenge Plate (Gaddaffy Duck Challenge) at the November Silly Hat Rally in London
2011
- Kirstie Wright is re-elected as SSAGO Treasurer
- Jamie Shirra is elected as SSAGO Chairperson
- SCOGUI hosts the Summer ‘Inflatable’ Rally
